No, static mixers do not require any power to operate. Mixing energy is caused by a pressure drop generated by flow through the mixing elements. Your static mixer is attached directly to your pipeline, and the fluids are mixed as they travel through the baffle sequence in the static mixer.
IBC Mixers feature an agitator (propellor, shaft and motor) designed to fit to the bung opening of an Intermediate Bulk Container. FluidPro’s bridge mount design allows for easy installation using a forklift.
Mixing involves blending multiple materials to form one combined solution. Dispersion breaks down large particles or agglomerates and can be used to combine products of varying viscosity. Emulsification breaks down particles to disperse them evenly through one another, in order to blend immiscible substances.
