Blending viscous products in an IBC can require effective temperature control and consistent heating, to prevent solidification or degradation of the product. However, working with temperature-sensitive products means you will need a suitable heating solution for your Intermediate Bulk Containers.

Made of HDPE, which is combustible at very high temperatures, plastic IBC tote tanks must be heated safely and efficiently. IBCs must not be heated above 120°C for short times or 49°C for longer-term or consistent heating runs.

Our hot boxes feature an insulated chamber, into which your IBC is placed. Using an external control panel and temperature control sensors, you can set and maintain the right temperature for your tote tank and its contents. Achieve temperatures up to 70°C, depending on the product and the time temperature must be maintained.

With options for sliding, hinge, removeable and roller doors, your IBCs can be easily loaded into and unloaded from the hot box, for smoother operations, and stackable options are available to heat multiple batches at once.
